Farewell from Kat, Hello to Christine!

Dear MI Farm Co-op Community,

I'm writing to share some personal news with you all. After much consideration, I've decided to step down from my role within the co-op. It's been an incredible opportunity, but I've made the decision to pursue a dream of opening a wellness center in Leelanau County.

In pursuit of this dream, I'll be leaving to work at Aro-Ha, a purpose-built luxury wellness retreat, set in spectacular surroundings near Queenstown, New Zealand. While it's a big leap, I'm excited for this new adventure and the opportunities it brings.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for this community. Serving as MI Farm Co-op's Operation Manager has been a privilege, and I'll cherish the memories we've made together. My last day at the co-op is Friday, March 29.

In my absence, I'm delighted to introduce Christine Straley as my successor. I have every confidence in her ability to continue the great work we've been doing together. Christine will be stepping in as Operations Manager on Monday, April 1.

Thank you all for being a part of this incredible community. Though I'll be away for a while, my heart remains firmly rooted here, and I look forward to returning with fresh energy to contribute to our shared mission.

Warmest regards,

Katherine (Kat) Palms
